2.1.1so是副词要用来修饰形容词和副词；such是形容词用来修饰名词。它们后面接单数可数名词的用法如下：

2.1.2和“that”连用时，意思基本一样，但句型结构不同。

4.2need有作情态动词和实义动词两种用法。

4.2.1need作情态动词的用法：

①need用作情态动词时表“必须、必要”，后直接跟动词原型，need+do，否定needn’t +do

②need无人称、数的变化(第三人称单数不加s)，也没有非谓语形式(不定式、分词).

③注意:need用作情态动词时常用于否定句和疑问句中.

④must引导的一般疑问句的否定回答必须使用needn't.肯定回答用must.

4.2.2need作实义动词的用法:

①need + something(名词) 需要某物

例：Is that a promise?那是诺言吗？例：Make me a promise that you’ll study hard.答应我你会努力学习。promise, promise 中文解释, promise 解释, promise中文, promise意思, promise用法, promise翻译 。

②need to do something 需要做某事

③need doing = need to be done 需要……

④need somebody to do something 需要某人做某事

4.3need用作名词时，既可以是可数名词，也可以是不可数名词。 need用作名词作“需要，需求”解时，其后常接介词for或of短语作其定语；当表示“责任，必要”时，其后常接动词不定式。 need的复数形式needs可以表示多种需要。

7.2that way 的用法如下：

①表示“那条路”。如：

I wouldn’t go that way. 我不会走那条路。

兑现 [duì xiàn](1) [cash]∶以票根为凭证向银行支付现金；把奖券取来兑现。(2) [honour a commitment;fulfil;make good]∶比喻实现诺言；说话不兑现。例句 1、如果你想在开户行以外的网点兑现支票，也要收取类似的。

7.3carry away拿走；冲走；把……带走。

7.4in a word意思是“总而言之”、“简言之”“一句话”、“一言以蔽之、总之”，表示总结的意思，后面跟一个句子，但是我们在表达的时候都习惯于只留下句子的定语，以强调我们要表达的意思.
