Thomas "Tom" Edgar Hinchliffe & Donald "Don" Jeremy Greger[1], better known online as Flashgitz, are YouTubers who make animated videos that are usually about their own original characters or characters from different franchises including Mario from Nintendo.

Most of their videos vary by length and can range from under a minute to over 10 minutes long. The videos also range in animation style depending on the subject of that video. Most Flashgitz videos are satirical in nature and range from a variety of different topics such as gaming, fandoms, and politics.

One of their most popular series of videos is called The Furry Crusades, which follows The Black Templars commiting a seemingly endless crusade against furries. The series currently consists of 8 videos. Another series called Show Quest has 10 videos, but the series has since then ended. In addition to animation, Flashgitz make vlogs which show the creators doing various things such as getting a show and other activities that might spark interest in the audience.

One of their well known videos "Racist Mario" which is a well known parody animation with at least 150-million views.

During a Mario Kart race, Mario got angry about non-Nintendo characters being included in the race and as a result, he decided to brutally murder almost everyone involved in the tournament. He started off with killing Knuckles and then he killed Anakin Skywalker, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Sackboy and Sonic.

He even tried to kill his own brother, Luigi. As Mario was prepared to kill Luigi, Luigi tried to reason with him and said that they were brothers, but Mario claimed that he did not have a brother and then he tried to kill Luigi with a fireball, but failed because Luigi was killed by a demigod named Kratos instead of Mario. After Kratos came and mentioned Mario’s name, Mario was so angry that he flipped off Kratos and then Mario got pursued in a death-race style fight by the demigod.

It was implied that Mario most likely killed Crash Bandicoot since he pulled out his head and then threw it at Kratos after he said that PlayStation characters never learn. Then, Kratos immediately caught the head in his mouth, causing him to chomp on it. Mario tried to kill Kratos with a gun, but he failed and missed all of his shots, so he decides to kill Toad by ripping his head off and eating it, just so he could use his head as a "mushroom" to grow into a giant. After becoming a giant, Mario tries to use his fireballs to kill Kratos, but then he, once again, failed to kill him because Kratos quickly overpowered the Mega Mario and then brutally killed him with 2 knives off-screen. At the end of the video, Mario's mutilated head is seen next to Pac-Man's head with flies all over both of the heads as both of them are impaled on a stake. After Mario’s death, the race finishes where Kratos was in first place and has Princess Peach and Princess Daisy as his “prizes".

Interestingly, despite the amount of attention and suggestive themes, the video as of April 23, 2022 has not yet been taken down or age-restricted.
