　　他不被任何困难所压服，尽自己最大的努力与生活中的磨难做不屈不挠的斗争。他说：“一个人并不是生来就要给打败的，你尽可以消灭他，却不能打败他。”这种求不言败的硬骨头精神贯穿在《老人与海》故事的始终，它所包含的哲理值得读者细细咀嚼。

　　读了《老人与海》这个故事后，令我很感动，前八十天，他一直打不到鱼，对于一个捕渔夫来说，的确是一个很大的打击，可是老人并没有放弃，继续实现自己的梦想，我却跟老人相反，没有珍惜时间，导致很多时候，时间都过去了，可是自己却没学过丁点本领。

　　在这，我想劝一些没珍惜好时间的人说：“请用自己的手抓紧时间，这样，时间是不会被空气吹走的。”

　　这是部浪漫又现实的爱情。爱情没有浪漫就失去其美好的色彩了。但是小说中种种关于门当户对，以及财富对婚姻的考量却充斥其中。

　　伊丽莎白为自己家人的行为给自己带来的影响万分懊恼，达西也因此劝宾利先生离开 简，后来自己也是在理智与情感较量之后万分矛盾地向伊丽莎白吐露心事。所以说什么是爱情？那种纯粹的感情，爱的不顾一切，单纯的洁白如雪的爱情是不是真如镜中花水中月，是不是只不过是人们心中的美好幻想和追求罢了，而现实生活中人们总是寻找二者之间的最佳平衡点。

　　伊丽莎白在知道威克姆的真实面目前对其充满好感，她的姨妈却说这样的.青年托付终身不会幸福，因为他没有财产没有稳定收入，伊丽莎白接受这样的看法，并且主动克制了自己的感情。小说描写了一位老渔夫在海上捕鱼，经过了84天，他还没有捕到一条鱼，大家都说他运气不好，不吉利，等到第85天，他决定去渔夫们从未去过的深海去打鱼，以证明自己的能力和勇气。在海上，老人发现了一条很大的马林鱼，它克服了重重困难，经过艰难的搏斗，终于在第三天早晨，把鱼叉刺进了马林鱼的心脏。在返回的途中，老人与到了鲨鱼的五次袭击，他用鱼叉、船桨和刀子勇敢反击。当他驾驶小船回到港口时，马林鱼只剩下一幅巨大的白骨架。

　　the old man and the sea is one of hemingway's most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. it played a great part in his winning the pulizer prize in 1953 and the 1954 novel prize for literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. besides the old man and the sea, i have read some of his other works, such as the sun also rises, a farewell to arms and the snow of kilimanijaro. but the old man and the sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.

　　i first read this book when i was in my fifteens. and now i remember it just as well as if i had read it yesterday.

　　pride and prejudice is a chefdoeuvre.

　　my first impression of this story was from screen.

　　it's long long ago, maybe before i can read English books. i don't remember which movie edition i had seen. but i was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. i was very favor of a section of music in its balls. it's pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. regarding to the characters, i liked elizabeth, the heroine,though i didn't think she's beautiful. but she's smart. however, i didn't pay much attention to the plot. i thought it's so long that it made me impatient and bored. by now, i haven't read the whole story in English or its chinese version, either. i owe it to my prejudice.

　　Today, I read a famous American writer Ernest Hemingway's novel "the old man and the sea", the book left a deep impression on me, I very admire book old fisherman's will, he let me know how a person must have unremitting spirit, could succeed.

　　今天，我读了美国著名作家海明威的小说《老人与海》，这本书给我留下了深刻的印象，我十分佩服书中老渔夫的意志，他让我懂得了一个人一定要有坚持不懈的精神，才能获得成功。

　　《老人与海》描写的是一个年近六旬的老渔夫，在一次单身出海打鱼时，钓到了一条大鱼，却拉不上来。老渔夫同大鱼周旋了几天后，才发现这是一条超过自己渔船数倍的大马林鱼，虽然明知难以取胜，但仍不放弃。后来又因大马林鱼伤口上的鱼腥味引来了几群鲨鱼抢食，但老人不愿这样放弃，最终突出重围，将大鱼的骨头带回了渔港，让其他渔夫佩服不已。

　　当我读到爷爷与鲨鱼进行激烈的搏斗时，我真为爷爷担心，可是爷爷，总是保持着乐观的精神去面对一些极大的困难，看到这里，我不由得想起自己。每当我遇到了一些困难时，总是觉得很不顺心，觉得很烦，很想逃避现实。再看看桑提阿果爷爷，不管遇到任何困难也毫不退缩，而是勇敢地去面对!

　　做人也应该这样，不要一幅贪生怕死的样子，要对自己有信心。即使我们遇到重重困难，也绝不应该让它给打倒，应该勇敢地去消灭它。

　　我们是祖国的未来，应该像桑提阿果爷爷一样胸怀大志，去追求更好，更大的目标。我相信，在我的努力下，我一定会变得像桑提阿果爷爷那样勇敢，那样勇于拼搏。
