在日常的学习中，我们该怎么区分mood, emotion, attitude, feeling？先看看以下这道题：

My father seemed to be in no _____ to look at my school report.

A.mood B.emotion C.attitude D.feeling

答案选A.mood，为什么呢？

这四个词，乍一看，attitude的意思差别最大：

She shows a very positive attitude to her work.

她工作态度非常积极。

那么mood, emotion, feeling的区别何在，用法如何呢？

1.mood

the way you are feeling at a particular time 情绪；心情

mood指的是在特定的时间里的感受，所以mood侧重指的是一种暂时的精神或感情状态。

mood一般用于以下短语：

bad mood 坏心情,坏情绪

in the mood 兴致勃勃

in a good mood 心情好，好心情

in a bad mood 心情不好；处在不好的情绪中

be not in mood/ in no mood 心情很糟/心情不好

所以从固定搭配可以轻易知道上文提及的题目选mood。

2.emotion

a strong feeling such as love, fear or anger; the part of a person's character that consists of feelings 强烈的感情；激情；情感

emotion强调的是自己的感情，特定的某种情感。一般指由主观引起而非理智作用的一种强烈的感情状态，并且经常伴有心理上的变化。其实说白了，就是多指带有冲动的情感，内心的情感。

举个栗子：

Her heart was thumping with emotion.

她激动得心怦怦跳。

常用于以下短语：

with emotion 激动地；感动地

emotion quotient (EQ) 情商

emotion quotient (eq) 情商

3.feeling

something that you feel through the mind or through the senses （内心和感官的）感觉，触感

很明显，feeling指的是内心和感官上的感觉，侧重指“感觉，触觉” ，是自己内心深处真实的感觉，常常指对某种事物的感觉。

举个栗子：

A feeling of shame came over her.

她突然产生一种害羞的感觉。

除了emotion, feeling, mood这三个词都有“情绪”的意思之外，sense也有这层含义：

4.sense

one of the five powers(sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch) that your body uses to get information about the world around you 感觉官能（即视、听、嗅、味、触五觉）

由此可知，sense则多指感觉器官得到的信息，感觉，如：

Singing can create a sense of wellbeing.

唱歌能够给人一种心旷神怡的感觉。

所以，综上所述，这四个单词的区别是：

1）从人的认知的角度区别就是：

mood和emotion是比较浅层次的，都是没有经过理性思考的，直观的反应，

而feeling所指代的层次比较深，往往指的是“内心”的感受。

2）从具体意思上区分

：mood一般指“心情”、“情绪”，

emotion强调的是自己的感情，特定的某种“情感”；

feeling指的是内心和感官上的感觉，侧重指“感觉，触觉” ；

attitude指的是“态度、看法”。
