Be动词是英语表达中非常常见的动词。在一般现在时（simple present）的句子中有三种形式：am，is，are注：be动词后面一定不会跟宾语。

一、be动词在句子中怎么用？

含有be的句型有三种形式：1. 主语+be+形容词（adjective）

2. 主语+be+名词/名词短语（noun phrase）

3.  主语+be+介词短语（prepositional phrase）（后文有专门介绍）

你也可以在一个句子中使用多个这样的句型进行组合，例如：I am happy at work.She is a top chef in China.

二、英文中如何表达时间和地点

英文中的时间和地点通常使用介词短语（prepositional phrase）来表示。有两个部分组成

1. 开头是一个介词，比如：at、in、on

2. 后面+名词/代词，这个名词/代词也叫做介词的宾语，国内英语老师称它介宾短语。

表示地点的介词短语用来回答where的提问，通常放在句子末尾。We eat a lot of salad at home.The computer is on the desk.Loretta lives in my house.

表示时间的介词短语用来回答when的提问，通常放在句子末尾的末尾。Michael reads the newspaper in the morning.She sees him at the bank on Mondays.

另外有一些表示时间的单词或短语本身也可以回答when的提问，也放在句末。Eric watches TV daily.Maria works every afternoon.

如果你想要把时间放在前面，需要加一个逗号把句子断开。In the spring, every student has finals.Today, we have an important meeting.Twice a week, Zack volunteers at the library.
