Team Overview The Fund Distributor Services team (FD Services) is responsible for servicing intermediary relationships which includes US Mutual Funds, Offshore Mutual Funds, and 529 product suites. Our scope includes daily operational support for the intermediaries and internal business partners in support of the products. We partner closely with intermediary operations teams, transfer agents, vendors, as well as internal teams such as the Relationship Managers, Legal and Compliance. Responsibilities Develop a strong understanding of the various product offerings and intermediary operational technology platform and processesWork closely with transfer agents, sales, and relationship groups to achieve a superior client experienceResolve issues and implement change to processes as neededInteract with investment professionals and intermediaries on operational needs and client requestsParticipate in on- site due diligence and operational visits with top BlackRock Intermediaries distributing our fundsContribute to the agreement process with internal partners, including Contracts and Administration teams to ensure operational capabilitiesCoordinate, review and approve Intermediary communicationsDevelop positive relationships with the Fund Accountants, Transfer Agents, and internal oversight teams to further enhance services and resolve open issues effecting intermediariesProactive approach and prioritization of operational improvements, risk management, collaborating across teams and functions to drive improvements and adoption of changesOwnership and accountability for solving issues, and driving projects to successful completionQualifications3+ years’ experience in financial services with exposure to operational and client service functions preferredBachelor’s Degree in economics, finance or accounting preferredSkilled in developing and collaborating working relationships with key business partnersStrong, effective communicator, both written and verbalSeek opportunities for improvements or service initiatives and bring to completionProficient in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel knowledgeStrong dedication to service excellence with the analytical ability to synthesize information and summarize issuesAttention to detail and ability to prioritize the most critical business issues.Work both independently and in a team environmentSelf-starter who is results driven and possesses a high degree of self-motivationAbility to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and responsibilitiesOtherTravel: SomeDirect Reports: NoOur BenefitsTo help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.Our hybrid work model BlackRock’s current hybrid work model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while supporting increased flexibility for all employees.
