前不久，斗鱼游戏主播“超级小桀”在直播间发起拼多多“砍一刀”换手机的活动，自己在直播间动员6万人参与拼多多砍价活动，看能否砍下一台手机，结果2小时后也没能完成。

不过后来结果反转了，拼多多官方表示该主播当天已经砍价成功了，并于当晚免费领取了一台手机，而且该主播宣称的6万人并非事实，实际参与砍价的只有上千人。

问题来了，上述提到的“砍价”用英语怎么说呢？如果是字面翻译的话，确实可以说“cut the price或bring down the price”，这是正确的英文表达，就是“砍价或者把价格降下来”，可以是一人或多人的行为。

但拼多多的“砍价”，通常是让你邀请别人一起参加的，有一个更加对应的英文表达。我们来看一下国外网站对此的报道，标题是：

拼多多否认手机砍价失败

deny /dɪˈnaɪ/ v.否认

mass /mæs/ n.大众；群众；团；堆；大量

bargain /ˈbɑːrɡən/ n.减价品；物美价廉的商品；讨价还价的行为；v.讨价还价

所以在这里，mass bargain是名词，字面意思是“大众集体讨价还价的过程”，就是对“多人参与的砍价”的意译，是外国人比较好理解的版本。我看到也有外国文章用了collective bargain或者group bargain，意思也是一样的。

那我们平时生活当中的“砍价”，一般有如下几种常用说法：

bargain

When people bargain with each other, they discuss what each of them will do, pay, or receive.

【例句】

He's an old hand at bargaining, so it's a good idea to go shopping with him. 他砍价方面可是老手了，所以和他去购物准没错。

In the market dealers were bargaining with growers over the price of coffee. 在市场上经销商正和种植者就咖啡的价格进行商谈。

drive a hard bargain

砍价

【解释】

to work hard to negotiate prices or agreements in one's own favor.

为了对自己有利而努力谈判价格或协议。  

【例句】

She is known to drive a hard bargain, so I doubt if you'll get that car for the price you want.

她是出了名的会讨价还价，所以我怀疑你能以你想要的价格买到那辆车。  

You drive a hard bargain, Jane, but I'll sign the contract.

你真会讨价还价，简，但我会签合同的。

haggle/ˈhæɡl/  

v. 讨价还价；砍价；讲价

一般说：

haggle with sb over sth

为某物和某人讲价

【解释】

 (with sb) (over sth) to argue with sb in order to reach an agreement, especially about the price of sth 争论；（尤指）讲价

【例句】

I left him in the market haggling over the price of a shirt. 

我扔下他自己在市场上就一件衬衫讨价还价。

Of course he'll still haggle over the price. 当然他仍然要讨价还价。

砍价专用英语

1. 开门见山法

直截了当的表达讨价还价，可以这么说：

Is there any discount? 有折扣吗？

How much discount do you give? 你们可以给几折？

Could you cut/lower the price a little bit, please? 你可以把价格降一点吗？

Can I make an offer? 能讲价吗？（我能出个价吗？）

Can you make it a little cheaper? 能便宜点吗？

Come on, give me a break on this. 拜托了，你就便宜点吧！

2.拐弯抹角法

不好意思直接砍价，可以这么说：

Lower the price and I'll consider it. 价钱低一点我才会考虑。

I like everything about it except the price. 除了价格之外，我都很满意。

Will you give me a discount if I buy more than one? 如果我多买些，可以给我打折吗？

I’ll tell my friends about your shop. Can I get a special price? 我会给朋友宣传你家店，可以给我个优惠价吗？

If I pay the full price, can you give me something extra? 如果我付原价，可以给我小赠品吗？

Let's make it 30 yuan, a round number. 就30元了，凑个整吧。

3.不屈不挠法

买东西就是被宰，明确立场绝不被宰，可以这么说：

Don't try to rip me off. I know what this is worth. 别想宰我，我识货。

The price is beyond my budget, and I can’t afford it if you don’t give me a special price. 这价格超出了我的预算，如果你不给我优惠价我是不会买的。

4.威逼利诱法

看店家没有降价的意思，就威胁要离开或者去别家买：

I've seen this cheaper (in) other places. 我在别家有看过更便宜的。

I heard other stores were having great mark-downs on this item. 听说别家的这个东西在大减价。

A：This is the lowest price. 这真的是最低价了。

B：Sorry, I don't think I'll have any of them. / I've seen this cheaper (in) other places. 抱歉，这些我可能都不想要了。/ 我在别家店看过更便宜的。
