四、形容词

1、多个形容词修饰一个名词时的顺序是：限定词（冠词、物主代词、指示代词、不定代词、数词等）＋一般描绘性形容词＋表示大小、长短、高低、形状的形容词＋表示年龄、新旧的形容词＋表示颜色的形容词＋表示国籍、地区、出处的形容词＋表示物质、材料的形容词＋表示用途、类别的形容词＋名词。

一个漂亮的老式意大利风格的手工制作的红柜子

经典例题：

One day they crossed the        bridge behind the palace.

2、用于：主语＋be＋形容词＋about＋宾语的句型的常见形容词有：anxious（焦虑的，担心的），certain，concerned（关心的），excited，optimistic，happy，careful，nervous，particular（挑剔的），worried等。

Mary is very anxious about Tom's health.       马丽非常挂念汤姆的身体状况。

It's a teacher's duty to be concerned about the students' study.     关心学生的学习是教师份内的事。

It's okay to be nervous about being back here at work.      回来工作有点紧张是正常的。

经典例题：

My cousin likes eating very much，but he isn't very        about what he eats.

3、用于：主语＋be＋形容词＋to＋宾语的句型中常见形容词有：accustomed，attractive，beneficial，common，devoted，equal，essential，fair，faithful，friendly，harmful，helpful，grateful，loyal，open，superior，sensitive，similar，strange，appropriate，vital等。

He is accustomed to walking with his wife after dinner. 他习惯于晚餐后和妻子一起散步。

These measures should be beneficial to the economy. 这些措施应该对经济有益。

We must be more sensitive to the needs of the young students. 我们必须对青年学生的需求更加敏感。

经典例题：

Once you are        to smoking，it is difficult to give it up.
