很多同学会在PTE口语部分中遇到数字时会突然不自觉停顿下来，想想这个数字到底该怎么正确读出来，明明知道这会严重影响流利度分数，可还是会不自觉卡顿，可能是对数字读法不熟悉，那到底要怎么练习才能做到流利朗读数字呢？

想正确的读出英文数字，我们可以先从基数词入手，百位以内的基数词很简单。

1. 一位数读法: one, two, three, four, five...

2. 两位数读法:

如果遇到几十几，如25，读作twenty-five,30-100之间的数字可以依此类推。

3. 3-4位数字读法: 英语中有“百”和“千”的计数单位，直接用数字+计数单位+数字即可。比如：105读作one hundred (and) five

225读作two hundred (and) twenty-five

2,225读作two thousand two hundred (and) twenty-five

注意：在英式英语中，hundred后面的数字需加and,但美式英语不用。

4. 5-6位数字读法: 在读五位以上的数字时，我们记得去看数字中的“逗号”，英语数字中三个数字一个逗号，即三位一节，把三位看成一个整体，后面再加一个计数单位即可。

5位的数字我们在汉语中可以用“万”来表示，6位即是“十万”，在英语中没有相对应的单位词，我们可以换算一下：

“万”=“十个千”=ten thousand

“十万”=“百个千”=a/one hundred thousand

例如：

11,265读作eleven thousand two hundred (and)sixty-five

635,478读作six hundred (and)thirty five thousand and four hundred (and)seventy-eight

5. 7位以上数字读法: 7位的数字在汉语中是用“百万”来表示，在英语中有相应的单位词：million。但汉语中的“千万”和“亿”在英语中没有相对应的单位词，我们可以换算一下：

“千万”=“十个百万”=ten million

“亿”=“百个百万”=a/one hundred million

例如：

2,536,862读作two million, five hundred (and)thirty-six,eight hundred (and)sixty-two

25,026,008读作twenty-five million (and)twenty-six thousand (and)eight

378,263,659读作three hundred and seventy-eight million,two hundred and sixty-three thousand,six hundred and fifty-nine

6. 10位数字读法: 十位数的数字也就是汉语中的“十亿”=billion

例如：

5,937,284,560: five billion,nine hundred thirty-seven million,two hundred eighty four thousand five hundred sixty

“百亿”、“千亿”的表示方法依此类推。

百亿=10,000,000,000=ten bi
