英文數字讀法
英文數字1-20非常重要，只要精熟這20個數字，想到18，能立刻反應它的英文讀法是eighteen，這樣，掌握著下面介紹的訣竅，就能輕易讀出任何英文的數字來。 三位數以下的數字的英文讀法13-19的英文是thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen，將每個字的字尾-teen變成-ty就變成30-90了：30 thirty, 40 forty (注意前面不是four，而是for), 50 fifty, 60 sixty, 70 seventy, 80 eighty, 90 ninety。 二位數英文數字讀法：18 eighteen26 twenty-six87 eighty-seven 熟悉1-20的英文讀法，再掌握上面介紹的訣竅，1-99的讀法就沒有問題。接下來，多學一個hundred這個單字，直接就可以用英文數到999 三位數英文數字讀法 (現在很多人都省略and不念)：147 one hundred and forty-seven 308 three hundred and eight610 six hundred and ten999 nine hundred and ninety-nine 四位數以上的數字英文讀法四位數以上的阿拉伯數字，只要它代表的是數量 (不是年號或房號等)，從個位數開始數，每隔三個位數會出現一個逗號，每個逗號代表英文的一個新的單字。 1,000 one thousand1,000,000 one million1,000,000,000 one billion1,000,000,000,000 one trillion 結合上一節介紹的三位數與以下的唸法，以下舉例說明四位數以上如何讀： 只有一個逗號，念thousand-5,008 five thousand and eight-35,118 (英文的概念是35千) thirty-five thousand one hundred and eighteen-891,485 (英文的概念是891千）eight hundred ninety-one thousand four hundred and eighty-five 有兩個逗號，從million開始-11,004,008 (英文的概念是11百萬)eleven million four thousand and eight-205,708,563 (英文的概念是205百萬)two hundred five million seven hundred eight thousand five hundred and sixty-three-962,077,058 (英文概念為962百萬)nine hundred sixty-two million seventy-seven thousand and fifty-eight 有三個逗號，從billion開始-405,330,003,721 (英文概念為405十億)four hundred five billion three hundred thirty million three thousand seven hundred and twenty-one-915,064,032,001 (英文概念為915十億)nine hundred fifteen billion sixty-four million thirty-two thousand and one 有四個逗號，從trillion起念-389,776,423,543,321 (英文概念389兆)three hundred eighty-nine trillion seven hundred seventy-six billion four hundred twenty-three million five hundred forty-three thousand three hundred and twenty-one請注意三點：首先，因為只是數字的概念，trillion, billion, million, thousand, hundred後面都不加s。再者，and只出現在十位數之前，沒有十位數，就在個位數前; 千位數以上，不會出現and。最後，現在，大部分的人不讀and了。掌握這個訣竅，再怎麼大的數字，都可以一下子讀出來。 分數與小數的英文讀法分數讀法的重點 要先讀分子，再讀分母 讀分子時用基數，讀分母時用序數 1/2的讀法為one (a) half 1/4的讀法可以是a quarter 或 one fourth 當分子為2跟2以上，則分母要加s1/2 讀a half2/2 讀two halves (英文的概念為兩個1/2，所以half要變成複數，字尾f改成ves)1/3 讀a third2/3 讀two thirds1/4 讀a quarter3/4 讀three quarters 或three fourths5/7 讀five sevenths2又3/5 讀two and three fifths 小數的英文讀法小數的讀法的重點有五：

小數點後面，每個位數分開念，只能念零到九
零可以讀為zero或naught
